I have an ibook os x version 10.4.9. I would like to know if there is another way to access the xp shared folder from the mac or if I can try something else so that the folder appers in the “connect to server” option. It does not automatically appear.
Go into the PC, and find its IP address. On the Mac, select “Connect to Server”, and enter the IP address into the Field, & click Connect. If the PC is configured correctly, you should get “Shared” folder.
Click the “+” button to add the IP addr to your “list”, in case you need it again …
Hope this helps.
