So I have a jailbroken iPod and I really regret it, so I tried restoring it on iTunes along with updating since I’m on iOS 5.1.1 but every time I try it says “contacting software update server” and when I press cancel and try restoring it just comes up with error 3194.

List of things I’ve tried so far (from YouTube)

Modifying the host file

Modifying the hoste file extensions

Using Tiny Umberella to modify sending the information to cydia’s server.

So does anyone have any idea how to get rid of this? It would be really helpfull thank you.
