My laptop came with windows live mail and windows live messenger installed on it. I have used them both and they worked fine, but as of last week they crash. It says “error with the servers” every time I try to sign in on one of them. What happened?

delete program and re install it
go to control panel then click on programs and then click uninstall program.. then find windows live essentials and uninstall it.. then reset computer and once reset download live messenger from the windows live website and re install it.. and then it should work
