The rooms are all down its not just you … I have called Yahoo … and they were not much help …. to get tech support you have to do it online …. I submitted a request a few hours ago … but I still have not gotten an answer

I just tried and got right in using this method! 1st go to tools,Internet options,delete cookies.then do the following.

Here is a easy fast way into games. Log on to yahoo mail, minimize it. Go to http://www.shove-it.com or http://www.amishdonkey.com find game select lounge page you want to play. Click on file, send, desk-top short cut. Or add to your favorites. This gives you a straight link to shove it. Now click on game lounge you want to play in, beginners, intermediate etc. You can do this for each card game or board game . it’s faster then going Through yahoo page . Nice thing is you can get in any lounge or game that’s full or not. If you prefer not to use a back door,just go to game. Be sure you log on mail or any other yahoo site,like answers,so you are logged in before going to games.

The fact I use msn virtual machine instead of sun java may also make a difference.

Yahoo games, mail, and messenger, have conflicts with sun java. Rather then trying to work around them. Here is the easy and fastest way to cure them. These simple setting changes will fix 90% of all problems caused by java updates. While you need java for most yahoo sites, you do not need java virtual machine to launch them.

go to Tools, open Internet options, advance tab. Scroll down the list and see if you have Microsoft Virtual Machine listed, if so unclick the 2 java’s listed. Make sure JIT is checked, click apply then ok. Close. This lets msn virtual machine launch yahoo messenger and games.

Trouble made by niteguardian1: YAHOO…… What is the problem with the games all of a sudden?

It seems that ever since YAHOO changed “Game Servers” there have been problems. I get locked in the Pinocole room. I have to use “Task Master” to close it down. WHY can someone answer this question. YAHOO there are many many UNHAPPY gamers out here.

This is really everything regarding YAHOO…… What is the problem with the games all of a sudden? possibly will want to fix concerns independantly. Yahoo Games Server is Down. No telling when it’ll be back to normal. It’s not your machine’s fault.

It seems to go and come, sometimes continuous logging in and out and “click here” if game applet doesn’t open, results in you making it in. But it’s most definitely the games server for yahoo.

I have no problem playing other games online so I know it is not my internet. When I go to the multiplayer option and click find game an online status box pops up and stays there. It will not load at all. Please help. It is a brand new game straight out of the box. The Online Status box says “Fetching Playlists, Updating Rank and Unlocks, Connecting to Matchmaking server….”

Sometimes Yahoo runs a bit slow. I have had several instances where downloads taking extra LONG times, and pages not loading. Personally, I would 1. Run a Virus scan. 2. Run a spy ware scan. 3. Click on “tools” then Internet options. Then click on Delete, and clear our all your Cookie, temporary etc. files. 4. Run a disk clean up. 5. Do a Disk De frag.

Doing these things will speed up your computer while giving time for yahoo to speed up. If after all of that and its still giving you problems then you know it’s yahoo and not your PC.

If so then just understand that there are times when even the largest of websites just has more traffic then it can handle. When that happens, then the pages run real slow. In the worst case scenario the page can crash! I haven’t seen that with yahoo in over 10years.

I have been w. yahoo since the 90s. It was cool since even if you went from dialup, dsl and to cable you can keep an address that lasts forever no matter what. A friend emailed me that I had not spoken to in 5 years.

Now slow access even w. a T1 connection. Games go out for no reason. Whatever service does as well. Often it is that is “we are taking a break”. Great…. My feeling is that it is time to move elsewhere on the net.

All you need to do is sign into your online account on your new PS3. Then, when you put a game disc into the PS3, the trophies for that game will return to your account. NOTE: The trophies for all your games will not automatically appear. Again, you will have to put the disc into the PS3 in order to get the trophies back that you earned for that game.

“Sync with server” basically means that your trophies will sync with Sony’s server and will be saved on Sony’s server. However, this process occurs automatically, so all your trophies should be saved on Sony’s server. Pressing “sync with server’ just allows you to sync your trophies manually if you do not feel like waiting for your trophies to sync automatically. So, again, just follow the steps above to get your trophies back.

Sounds like you have a firewall problem? Check if your firewall has been left on.

If that’s not the problem, you’ll need to provide more details to help resolve the problem. The MMORPG games should have their own forums that help with bugs and the like- might be able to get a more direct answer that way
