Trouble merely by Paul W: How do I get the best frames/sec on web cameras?
Both parties are using the same cameras which say they capture at 30 fps. On Yahoo! Messenger we only get 3 fps (frames per second) . We even modified our firewalls to allow Yahoo! Webcam service, got the webcams to say “peer to peer” instead of “server” mode. But the fps is still only 3 fps. We also have the camera settings to fastest as opposed to best quality. Any other suggestions?
Do other people get better fps than that?
