It could be your firewall blocking it. If you are using a firewall other than windows firewall you may have to configure the firewall to allow Aim.

You’d have to locate his proxy server and hope they’d be willing to tell you. Finding his proxy server won’t be hard, but most proxies won’t give out that information without a court order. I guess it depends on how ‘professional’ the proxy is.

I’ve checked www.msu.edu and it works just fine; you have an internet connection so it is supposed to load your email. If your problem is you can’t log in using your phone and there’s internet access, I think the problem is with in the system, your username and email might not be activated by the site admin yet.
